ITEM 2.02 RESULTS OF OPERATION AND FINANCIAL CONDITION.
On January 30, 2017, Wheeler Real Estate Investment Trust, Inc. (the “Registrant”), issued a press release that pre-announced its fourth quarter unaudited 2016 pro forma AFFO run rate, provided some highlights of the year and set the fourth quarter 2016 earnings release date. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this current report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
ITEM 8.01 OTHER EVENTS.
The Registrant announced that it will issue its financial results for the 2016 fourth quarter ended December 31, 2016 on Monday, February 27, 2017, after the close of market. The Registrant will discuss these results in a conference call the following morning, Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at 10:00 a.m., Eastern Standard Time. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this current report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
