Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.
On January 12, 2017, Strategic Storage Growth Trust, Inc. (the “Registrant”) issued a press release stating that it had recently acquired a vacant industrial building in Asheville, North Carolina that it intends to convert into a self storage facility. A copy of the press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein solely for purposes of this Item 7.01 disclosure.
