On October 21, 2016, MGP Ingredients, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release containing a statement about a chemical release that occurred at its Atchison, Kansas plant. The text of the press release is set forth in Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is hereby incorporated by reference herein.
