On September 2, 2016, James M. Anthony, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Severn Bancorp, Inc. (“Bancorp”) and Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Severn Savings Bank, FSB (“Severn”), resigned as an officer and employee of the Bancorp and Severn.
Mr. Anthony’s resignation is related to his pursuing other professional opportunities, and does not involve any disagreement with the Bancorp’s management or Board of Directors.
