On September 6, 2016, Sigma Designs, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing its results for the second fiscal quarter ended July 30, 2016. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.

On September 6, 2016, the Company held a conference call to discuss the results of its second fiscal quarter ended July 30, 2016. A copy of the transcript of the conference call is furnished as Exhibit 99.2 attached hereto.
