On August 25, 2016, Pingtan Marine Enterprise Ltd. (Nasdaq: PME) (the “Company”) issued a press release to announce that a federal court had ordered a complete dismissal of a securities class action against the Company and entered a final judgment in its favor. The full text of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
