On July 22, 2016, Mark E. Konen, President, Insurance and Retirement Solutions notified Lincoln National Corporation (the "Company" or "LNC") that he has decided to retire from the Company effective as of February 28, 2017. Prior to his retirement from the Company, Mr. Konen will focus on ensuring an effective transition of his executive leadership responsibilities.
A copy of the press release announcing this change is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
