Item 8.01 Other Events.
One July 5, 2016, Lightbridge Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Company’s Board of Directors has approved a one-for-five reverse stock split of the Company’s common stock. The Company expects its common stock to begin trading on a split-adjusted basis as of July 20, 2016. Following the reverse stock split, the CUSIP for the Company’s common stock will be 53224K 203. A copy of the press release is filed with this Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference into this Item 8.01.
