Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
Effective May 5, 2016, Joshua Kornberg is no longer the Chief Executive Officer and President of Skyline Medical Inc., a Delaware corporation (the “Company”).
Also effective May 5, 2016, the Board appointed Carl Schwartz, a director, to serve as Interim Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Mr. Schwartz, age 75, is owner and manager of dental groups in Burton, MI and Grand Blanc, MI. Dr. Schwartz previously served on the board of Delta Dental Corporation of Michigan, was a member of the Michigan Advisory Board for Liberty Mutual Insurance and was a member of the Board of Trustees of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Florida.
