On April 29, 2016, as part of the succession plan previously announced by Wisconsin Electric Power Company’s (the “Company”) parent, WEC Energy Group, Inc., Gale E. Klappa notified Wisconsin Electric that he will be retiring from the Company’s Board of Directors and as Chairman of the Board effective May 1, 2016. Allen L. Leverett, Chief Executive Officer of the Company, will succeed Mr. Klappa as Chairman.
In connection with Mr. Klappa’s retirement, the Company’s Board of Directors voted to decrease the size of the Board from five directors to four.
