Item 8.01 Other Events
On January 8, 2016, Union Bankshares Corporation announced that it will conduct a quarterly earnings conference call on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time during which the Company will discuss fourth quarter results and provide an update on recent activities. The press release announcing the conference call information is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
