On December 4, 2015, the Company issued a press release announcing that it has made an additional investment in its Tyco UAE joint venture with local partner Suwaidi Engineering Group and, separately, has reached a definitive agreement to sell its fire detection and protection business in Australia to Evergreen Capital, L.P. The additional investment in the Tyco UAE joint venture was approximately $150 million in cash. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference.
