Item 2.01. Completion of Acquisition or Disposition of Assets.
On October 30, 2015 Simmons First National Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that on October 29, 2015 it completed its acquisition of Ozark Trust & Investment Corporation (“Ozark Trust”) pursuant to a previously announced definitive agreement and plan of merger whereby Ozark Trust merged with and into the Company.
Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.
On October 30, 2015 the Company issued a press release announcing the completion of the Ozark Trust acquisition. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report and is incorporated herein by reference.
