Item 8.01. Other Events.
On October 20, 2015, Optical Cable Corporation (the “Company” or “OCC®”) issued a press release announcing that the Board of Directors declared a cash dividend of $0.02 per share on the Company’s common stock effective October 19, 2015. The Company’s Board of Directors declared that the dividend would be paid on or about November 20, 2015 to shareholders of record on October 30, 2015. A copy of the press release announcing the dividend is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K.
