Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On October 15, 2015 Jeff Goh, 51, President and Interim Chief Executive Officer of Medbox, Inc. (the “Company”). was elected to the board of directors of the Company. Mr. Goh has served in his present role with the Company since June 30, 2015. He joined the Company as Chief Operating Officer on April 1, 2015 and was a consultant to the Company from August 2014 to March 2015.

Mr. Goh previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Heart Brand Foods, a producer of heart-healthy snack food products that help to reduce LDL cholesterol, from 2012 to 2014. Mr. Goh also previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Two Chefs on a Roll, a custom producer of savory and bakery private label food products, from 2001 to 2010. Throughout his career, Mr. Goh has focused on leading and developing businesses involved in fast-growing sectors of food, technology and international commerce.

On October 20, 2015, the Company issued a press release announcing the appointment of Mr Goh as a director. A copy of the Press Release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference herein.
