Item 8.01 Other Events.
On October 16, 2015, the Board of Directors of Western Refining, Inc. (“Western” or the “Company”) approved a cash dividend of $0.38 per share of common stock for the fourth quarter of 2015. The dividend will be paid on November 12, 2015, to shareholders of record at the close of market on October 27, 2015. On October 16, 2015, the Company issued a press release announcing this cash dividend. A copy of this press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
