(b) On July 2, 2015, Lawrence H. Silber announced that he will not stand for re-election to SMTC Corporation’s Board of Directors at its 2015 Annual General Meeting, when his current term ends. His decision was due to acceptance of a new employment opportunity and not the result of any disagreement with the Company or its management.
