Item 8.01. Other Events.
On June 29, 2015, Dot Hill Systems Corp. (“Dot Hill”) filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado alleging that Crossroads Systems, Inc. (“Crossroads”) infringes a patent owned by Dot Hill. This lawsuit was filed by Dot Hill after Crossroads filed suit against Dot Hill for breach of contract and patent infringement. If Dot Hill is successful in this lawsuit, it could result in Crossroads not having all of the patent rights necessary to conduct its business. Crossroads believes it has meritorious legal defenses and will defend its interests vigorously in this matter.
