On June 12, 2015, National Western Life Insurance Company (the “Company”) issued a press release relating to the filing of a supplement to the proxy statement/prospectus for the Company’s Annual Meeting of Shareholders to be held on June 19, 2015. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
