(b) On January 27, 2015, Henry H. Hewitt, a director of Cascade Bancorp (the “Company”) and Bank of the Cascades (the “Bank”) since 2004, notified the Company of his decision to retire from the Board of Directors of each of the Company and the Bank. Mr. Hewitt will not stand for re-election at the Company’s 2015 Annual Shareholders’ Meeting and will continue to serve on the Board of Directors of each of the Company and the Bank until that time. The Company and the Bank both thank Mr. Hewitt for his dedication, commitment and service to their respective Boards of Directors.
