On December 15, 2014, Macrophage Therapeutics, a business unit of Navidea Biopharmaceuticals, Inc. (the “Company”), hosted a conference and webinar to present research data from independent academic collaborators in connection with potential therapeutic applications of its Manocept™ platform in Kaposi’s Sarcoma and other diseases. The data was summarized in a press release issued by the Company on December 15, 2014. A copy of the Company’s December 15, 2014, press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
