Item 2.01. Completion of Acquisition or Disposition of Assets
On December 5, 2014, Farmland Partners Inc. (the Company) completed the previously announced acquisition of an approximately 1,447-acre farm located in Arkansas (the Vendome Farm) from an unrelated third-party for approximately $7.2 million in cash. The Vendome Farm was previously owner-occupied and, as a result, does not have a prior leasing history.
