Item 8.01 Other Events.
On December 9, 2014, Strategic Hotels & Resorts, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Company closed on the acquisition of the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North for $140 million, which includes 13.8 acres of developable land zoned for an additional 88 hotels keys and potential residential usage. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
