Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On November 24, 2014, Walter Wendland ceased serving as President and Chief Executive Officer of Homeland Energy Solutions, LLC (the "Company"). Patrick Boyle was appointed by the Company's board of directors to serve as the Company's President and Chief Executive Officer as of November 24, 2014. Mr. Boyle also serves as Chairman of the Company's Board of Directors. Mr. Boyle will serve as the Company's President and Chief Executive Officer at the pleasure of the Company's board of directors until his earlier resignation or removal from office.

Patrick Boyle is 60 years old and has served as a director of the Company since it's inception. In addition to his service to the Company, Mr. Boyle serves as the Business Development Manager for Hawkeye REC, a local utility company, from 2000 to the present. In the past he has been a consultant with the U.S. Foreign Aid Department in Russia organizing, structuring and forming agricultural cooperatives and free enterprise entities after the breakup of the collective farm system. Mr. Boyle serves on many local and state boards.
