On November 6, 2014, ZS Pharma, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that phase 3 data for ZS-9 (sodium zirconium cyclosilicate), an investigational treatment for hyperkalemia, from HARMONIZE (ZS004) will be presented in multiple presentations at the upcoming American Heart Association Annual Scientific Meeting. The Annual Scientific Meeting will take place from November 15 to 19, 2014. The presentations will be both by oral presentation and poster presentation. Further details about the scheduled sessions are available in the press release. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 hereto.
