Item 8.01. Other Events.
On August 12, 2014, RealNetworks, Inc. announced the elimination of approximately 85 positions worldwide, or approximately 10% of its worldwide employee base, primarily relating to its legacy businesses. RealNetworks expects to record between approximately $1.5 million and $2.0 million in charges associated with this reduction in force in the quarter ending September 30, 2014.
