On July 8, 2014, Joe Staples, the chief marketing officer of Interactive Intelligence Group, Inc. (“the Company”) notified the Company that he was resigning from his position, effective July 30, 2014. Mr. Staples will assume a senior marketing position in an unrelated industry located in his home state of Utah. The Company has begun an immediate search for a new chief marketing officer.
