Item 8.01. Other Events.

 

American Realty Capital Properties, Inc. (the “Company”) previously reported its agreement to acquire casual restaurant properties, substantially all of which are operating as Red Lobster® restaurants (the “Red Lobster Portfolio”).  As a result of a printer typographical error, the previous disclosure erroneously stated that the Company’s estimate of expenses to be incurred in connection with the transaction was $108 million.  The Company is filing this Current Report on Form 8-K to clarify that its estimate of expenses to be incurred in connection with the purchase of the Red Lobster Portfolio is approximately $10.8 million.
