In connection with the Quarterly Report of Oiltanking Partners, L.P. (the “Partnership”) on Form 10-Q for the period ended March 31, 2014, as filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on the date hereof (the “Report”), I, Jonathan Z. Ackerman, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of OTLP GP, LLC, the general partner of the Partnership, hereby certify, to my knowledge, pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 1350, as adopted pursuant to § 906 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, that:
