Item 8.01. Other Events.
Press Release Relating to First Quarter 2014 Financial Results Conference Call
On April 28, 2014, New York REIT, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that it plans to issue its first quarter 2014 financial results after market close on Monday, May 12, 2014 and host its first quarter 2014 financial results conference call and webcast on the following day on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The call will be conducted by Nicholas S. Schorsch, the Company’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Michael A. Happel, the Company’s President, and Gregory W. Sullivan, the Company’s Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer.
A copy of the press release announcing the foregoing is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated by reference herein.
