Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On February 26, 2014, Chesapeake Energy Corporation (the "Company") issued a press release reporting its financial and operational results for the 2013 fourth quarter and 2013 full year. The press release also provided information for accessing a related conference call. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.

On February 24, 2014, the Company issued a press release announcing that it is pursuing strategic alternatives for its oilfield services division, Chesapeake Oilfield Services, including a spin-off to Chesapeake shareholders or an outright sale. A copy of this press release is attached as Exhibit 99.2 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
