On February 19, 2014, Perma-Fix Environmental Services, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release, announcing that the Company intends to grant an exclusive, restricted field of use license to its new process, technologies and patents, when granted, to produce Technetium-99 for medical applications to its wholly-owned subsidiary and that its subsidiary plans to raise funds outside of the United States to, among other things, fund its utilization of this new process.
