On February 12, 2014, the Board of Directors of Sun Communities, Inc. (the “Company”) appointed John B. McLaren as President of the Company. Mr, McLaren continues to serve as the Chief Operating Officer of the Company. Mr. McLaren replaced Gary A. Shiffman as the Company’s President. Mr. Shiffman continues to serve as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and as a director of the Company.
Mr. McLaren, age 43, has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company since 2008, and as Senior Vice President of Sun Home Services, Inc. (a subsidiary of the Company) since August 2005.
