Other Events
On January 23, 2014, Merchants Bancshares, Inc. (“Merchants”) issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of 28 cents per share on Merchants’ common stock. The text of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference herein.
