Item 8.01 Other Events.
On January 21, 2014, Group 1 Automotive, Inc., a Delaware corporation, announced the acquisition of Heller Ford and Heller Hyundai in Southern California. The dealerships will operate as Ford of Escondido and Hyundai of Escondido.
In addition, Group 1 Automotive, Inc. announced additions to the top management team for its Brazilian operations: André Ribeiro, Director of Commercial Operations; Eduardo Amaral Marques, Director of Human Resources and Administration; and Rafael De Gouveia Ramalho, Director of Finance and Chief Financial Officer.
