Diamond Foods, Inc. (the “Company”) today announced that the previously announced proposed settlement by the Company of an action brought by the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) relating to the SEC’s investigation of the Company’s historical accounting and reporting of certain payments to walnut growers has been approved by the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
