On January 21, 2014, the Board of Directors of BNC Bancorp (the “Company”) declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.05 per share, payable on February 28, 2014 to shareholders of record as of February 14, 2014.

The Company’s press release, dated January 22, 2014, announcing the quarterly cash dividend is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1, and is incorporated herein by reference.
