(b)  Departure of Director

 

On January 7, 2014, GT Advanced Technologies Inc. (the “Company”) was notified by Mary Petrovich that she was resigning from the Board of Directors of the Company, such resignation to be effective immediately. Ms. Petrovich’s resignation was due to health issues and did not reflect any disagreements with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies and practices. Ms. Petrovich had been a member of the Board of Directors since May 2011.  At the time of her resignation, Ms. Petrovich was a member of the Compensation Committee.
