Item 8.01Other Events
On January 10, 2014, Coastway Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”), the proposed stock holding company for Coastway Community Bank (the “Bank”), announced that subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions, the conversion and offering are expected to close on or about January 14, 2014. The shares of common stock sold in the offering are expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market on or about January 15, 2014.
A copy of the press release is included as exhibit 99.1 to this report and is incorporated herein by reference.
