Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers
On December 17, 2013, based on the recommendation of the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Nanosphere, Inc. (the “Company”) and the approval of the Board, the Company Michael McGarrity, Kenneth Bahk and Roger Moody were granted equity compensation awards consisting of 400,000, 100,000 and 100,000 shares of restricted common stock, respectively, that vest in two equal installments in August 2014 and November 2015.
