Item 8.01 Other Events.
On December 17, 2013, Eureka Financial Corp. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Company’s Board of Directors has approved an increase of $0.02 per share to the Company’s regularly scheduled quarterly cash dividend, raising the dividend to $0.10 per share. The $0.10 per share cash dividend will be paid, on or about January 31, 2014, to stockholders of record as of January 15, 2014. A copy of the Company’s press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
