Item 8.01 Other Event.
On October 28, 2013, Pingtan Marine Enterprise Ltd. issued a press release titled “Pingtan Marine Enterprise Announces Independent Members of Board of Directors Approval to Sell Dredging Operating Subsidiary in a $365.5 Million Transaction.” A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K.
