Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers
Effective September 24, 2013 (the "Effective Date"), Anthony Coniglio resigned from the board of directors (the "Board") of Atlas Resource Partners GP, LLC (the "Partnership"), the general partner of Atlas Resource Partners, L.P. Mr. Coniglio has indicated that his resignation does not reflect any disagreement with management or the Partnership.
Effective as of the Effective Date, Harvey G. Magarick was appointed to the Board. Mr. Magarick was also appointed to serve as a member and chair of the Board's Audit Committee.
