Item 8.01. Other Events.
On September 13, 2013, Delcath Systems, Inc. (“Delcath”) issued a press release announcing that it has received a "Complete Response" letter from the U.S. Food & Drug Administration for the New Drug Application for Delcath’s MelblezTM Kit (Melblez (melphalan) for Injection for use with the Delcath Hepatic Delivery System) for the treatment of patients with unresectable ocular melanoma metastatic to the liver. A copy of the press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and incorporated herein by reference.
