On August 29, 2013, the Board of Directors of Franklin Financial Corporation (the “Company”) approved a stock repurchase program whereby the Company may repurchase up to 5%, or 612,530 shares, of its outstanding common stock commencing upon the completion of the 5% stock repurchase program approved by the Company’s Board of Directors on November 15, 2012. For further information, see the Company’s press release dated September 3, 2013, which is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is incorporated herein by reference.
