(b) On July 25, 2013, Mr. Paul K. Wieg resigned, effective August 2, 2013, from his position as the Vice President – Exploration and Business Development of Stone Energy Corporation (“Stone”) for personal reasons. On an interim basis, the functions of that office will be performed by Mr. David H. Welch, Chairman of the Board, President & Chief Executive Officer of Stone, working with Mr. John Leonard, Stone’s General Manager – Deepwater Development and Tom Messonnier, Stone’s Director of Strategic Planning.
