Item 8.01 Other Events
On February 7, 2013, Magnolia Solar Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that on February 6, 2013, Dr. Roger E. Welser, the Chief Technology Officer of the Company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Magnolia Solar, Inc., presented a paper entitled “Thick-Well Quantum –Structured Solar Cells” at the SPIE Photonic West Conference on Physics, Simulations and Photonic Engineering for Photovoltaic Devices II. The press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
