Sparton Corporation, an Ohio corporation (the “Company”) is holding a call on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Central Time to provide a general business update, to review the historical financial information of Sparton Onyx, LLC, a South Dakota limited liability company formerly known as Onyx EMS, LLC (“Onyx”), which was acquired by the Company on November 15, 2012, and to respond to investor questions. Interested parties may participate in the conference call by dialing (800) 406-7408 at least fifteen minutes before the call is scheduled to begin.

Investors and financial analysts are invited to ask questions after the presentation is made.
