Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On January 7, 2013, MAKO Surgical Corp. (the “Company”) issued a press release (the “Press Release”) announcing for the fourth quarter and full year 2012 the number of RIO® Robotic Arm Interactive Orthopedic Systems sold, the number of MAKOplasty® Total Hip Arthroplasty (THA) applications sold, the percentage of domestic commercial installed base having the MAKOplasty THA application, and the number of MAKOplasty procedures performed.
