Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure
On December 20, 2012, Wells Timberland REIT, Inc. (the “Company”) provided to its investors an overview of the timberland industry and certain information regarding the anticipated changes in the mix of the Company's existing timber inventory. The information was posted on the Company's website after business hours on December 20, 2012, and notification, which included a link to the information on the Company's website, was sent to the financial representatives of the Company's investors that evening. A copy of the presentation is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
